David Hamer, Architectural Partner
Where do we start. David has been with the Practice for 32 years he has delivered within every sector the Practice has worked. Grounded in healthcare, moving on to education, developing into emergency services (where he delivered the countries first BREEAM ‘very good’ rated fire station) and now working extensively within the sport and leisure sector. He has an incredible knowledge base in all aspects of project delivery. He became a partner in 2012 and has strengthened the design, technical delivery and project management capabilities of the Practice. He believes in promoting close, partnering focused client relationships, collaborative mulit-disciplined working and an innovative thought process all leading towards achieving client vision.
Martin Bennett, Quantity Surveying Partner
Martin is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 30 years of experience delivering cost management and commercial consultancy services across a diverse range of construction sectors. Since joining Bradshaw Gass & Hope LLP as a Partner, Martin brings a wealth of knowledge in both pre- and post-contract services, underpinned by a strong commitment to client service, technical accuracy, and value-driven outcomes.
Martin has developed a deep understanding of cost risk management and ensures that projects are delivered in line with industry best practices and client expectations. Martin has key skills in cost planning, estimating, procurement strategy, tendering, team leadership and staff development amongst the plethora of other traditional aspects of quantity surveying service delivery.
Brendan Howarth, Structural Partner
Brendan joined Bradshaw Gass & Hope LLP in 2018. An experienced Chartered Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the civil and structural engineering industry. Skilled in reinforced concrete, steel design, drainage, earthworks, and concrete. He is a strong engineering professional with a Structural Engineering Chartership (CEng MISTRUCTE) from the Institution Of Structural Engineers and a BEng(Hons) focused in Civil Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University. His experience ranges across a number of signicant industry sectors including healthcare, sport and leisure, education and commercial. Leading an experienced professional team he is able to deliver a comprehensive service alongside other design professionals.
