David Hamer, Architectural Partner
Where do we start. David has been with the Practice for 32 years he has delivered within every sector the Practice has worked. Grounded in healthcare, moving on to education, developing into emergency services (where he delivered the countries first BREEAM ‘very good’ rated fire station) and now working extensively within the sport and leisure sector. He has an incredible knowledge base in all aspects of project delivery. He became a partner in 2012 and has strengthened the design, technical delivery and project management capabilities of the Practice. He believes in promoting close, partnering focused client relationships, collaborative mulit-disciplined working and an innovative thought process all leading towards achieving client vision.
Julian Shepherd, QS Associate Director
Julian started at the Practice a few months after David. In 32 years of working life he has provided a professional service to construction clients across all sectors. As a member of the RICS for those years he has developed a considerable depth of knowledge that ensures cost risks within a project are managed in line with industry standard guidelines. Julian and his team are able to provide a traditonal quantity surveying service with take-offs, bills of quantities, schedules of works, procurement advise, tendering and cost management through construction. Julian is also an experienced project manager and employers agent and is able to manage the procurement and technical delivery of a development with a high level of professional a competency.
Brendan Howarth, Structural Partner
Brendan joined Bradshaw Gass & Hope LLP in 2018. An experienced Chartered Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the civil and structural engineering industry. Skilled in reinforced concrete, steel design, drainage, earthworks, and concrete. He is a strong engineering professional with a Structural Engineering Chartership (CEng MISTRUCTE) from the Institution Of Structural Engineers and a BEng(Hons) focused in Civil Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University. His experience ranges across a number of signicant industry sectors including healthcare, sport and leisure, education and commercial. Leading an experienced professional team he is able to deliver a comprehensive service alongside other design professionals.
